Australia offers a wide variety of attractions and sceneries. Every place in the continent has its own uniqueness and characteristics. The main cities are concentrated along the east and west coasts. Here are some of them: 

 

Sydney: The biggest city in Australia which contains some of the most recognized symbols of the country such as The Harbor Bridge and The Opera House. The popular and famous Bondi Beach, Circular quay, Kings Cross and AMP center point tower are just some of the attractions that this city has to offer.  

 

Melbourne: The second biggest city in Australia and the capital of Victoria. The city is known for its crazy climate and for being a center of commerce, industry, cultural and sport activities. It hosts festivals and events all over the year.  Cinemas, museums, theatres, sport stadiums and churches can all be found here giving the city a very cosmopolitan atmosphere.

 

Brisbane: The state capital of Queensland with more than 1 million inhabitants. It is a popular city for tourists not only because of its growing live music scene and being Queensland's cultural center but also because the special attractions out of the city such as Moreton Island and Gold Coast beaches which attracts plenty of tourists especially during the summer.

 

Adelaide: The capital of South Australia is a peaceful city which presents a different life style than the large cities. It has different kinds of museums and galleries, historic buildings that are made of stone and beautiful gardens and parks.   

 

Perth: The capital of Western Australia is an isolated and sunny city which offers rich and cultural life. The main attractions are the Underwater World, The museum of Western Australia and Perth zoo with native and imported animals.

 

Cairns: The city which is located at the north-eastern part of the continent serves as a touristy destination all over the year due to its tropical climate, plenty of sport activities and wild nightlife. It's also a basis for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Cape York Peninsula and Atherton Tablelands.
