Here are some recommended itineraries for traveling in Honduras:

Course #1 - For the ones coming from Guatamala and continue to Nicaragua or the other way around.

1. Copan - Ancient Mayan Ruins close to the border with Guatamala.
2. La Entrada - Just a little town u need to change buses on your way
3. San Pedro Sula - The second largest city in Honduras. A gateway to the ones heading to the Caribbean beaches.
4. La Ceiba - National Reserve Pico Bonito, Rio Cangrejal, Departure port to the Bay Islands, Active night life 
5. Bay Islands - Utila, Roatan and Guanaja – Diving, Snorkeling, Partying 
6. La Ceiba
7. Tegucigalpa - The Capital city of Honduras, it has a rich history, The center has lots of old churches and buildings, La Tigra National Park, Valle de Angeles and many more.
8. Danli - ghost town on the way to Nicaragua, you might stay here the night, just to get closer to the border 
9. Las Manos - Border with Nicaragua.

Course #2 - For the ones who travel only in Honduras.

1. Tegucigalpa - the Capital city of Honduras, it has a rich history, The center has lots of old churches and buildings, La Tigra National Park, Valle de Angeles and many more) 
2. Gracias - Beautiful colonial town, Balneario Hot Springs, La Montanita park and all the area around is nice
